You know how things are always done better the second time around? Whether that is painting a picture or running a mile — the second time around always trumps the first.
Well, I feel like school can be the same way, as it is divided into two semesters. Fall semester is like your preparation and you’re more prone to making lackadaisical mistakes than opposed to now, because at the time, you are just coming back from a relaxed summer vacation. In this case, you’re coming from a 2-3 week break (if even that) where you still have some of that school knack in you. During the summer, especially if you are far from college like me (Arizona), you might even start to miss the people from school, so you get anxious as well to start school up again and reunite with your peers that helped ease your rollercoasting college days.. until of course, the reality of 10 page papers and 3 hour exams comes into play.
At any rate, spring semester officially begins tomorrow, Wednesday, January 27, 2010, and I feel unprepared for some reason. Yes I have my schedule, checked my alerts, holds, and any other hindrances that constantly appear on the student portal, and it seems that I have everything set, yet I still don’t feel ready. Thankfully the first week is a short one and I can use the weekend to fully recuperate and mentally prepare myself for another long 20 weeks or so.. or at least ’til spring break.

For those that care, (ME)
and are the slightest bit interested in College Football, (ME)
and follow NFL prospects, (ME)
you were probably watchin the BCS Championship (the only other bowl that matters besides the Rose Bowl) no offense to other bowls, plates, and eating utensils ..
Just thought i'd share some pictures from the game .. and of Tim Tebow (damn he's fine)
smh .. and don't tell me he has a big nose! i know this already! lol
Florida (Gators) 21
Oklahoma (Sooners) 14
Unfortunately, he's taken .. this is him and his 'busty' gold-diggin girlfriend.. smh, I can appreciate a woman with big breasts (no homo) but i dont like phony .. her boobs are big (AND FAKE) for no reason .. Tebow must be havin him a good ol' time..
*gives up hope and walks out the room*

i HATE FLYING!
--first && foremost, i wanted to get that out the way. i've always had a fear of flying for as long as i can remember. its just not a pleasant thing. never has been. so to make it go by quicker i'll usually take sleeping pills or stay up all day be4 the flight to guarantee i'll be knocked out when airborne. haha. so if we DO go down, it'll be in peace .. lmao
--so to top off my college experience, i end up missing my first flight due to traffic and minor confusion with my luggage
--i finally arrive in denver about 3-4 hrs later, only to find a flight delay of an hour and 40 minutes .. so i'm thinkin "GREAT!"
--then once i get in Kansas City and got all my luggage, i realize i dont have my phone in my pocket where it ALWAYS is, so i start freakin out .. only to find it picked up by some1 in the airport and in the lost & found w/ my driver's license .. haha
--thank God for loyal KANSAS FOLKS! yay! or as jasmine would put it 'woot woot'! haha
:D
[but i'm just glad i made it here safely]
