Vibe Magazine Folds

Another black corporation announces its decline and gradual fold. Couldn't say I saw this coming, but then again, couldn't say I was subscribed to their magazines. I read copies occasionally (as they were readily available at my college library), but other than that, never really paid too much attention to em. Not to mention their abrupt downfall to their Vibe Awards which survived a measly 4 annuals. But that's beside the point--it's unfortunate it has to end like this, but all good things must come to an end, right? Well, we'll see what comes next, because when one door closes, another opens.

   hey, thanks for following the blog. on that first pic with all the vibe covers, i made that on my computer and u are crediting awkwordsilence.com...im not sure how they got it but i did put in on photobucket, im bout to ask them now.

   oh word? ok.. my bad.. yeah i seen it on their blog and thought it was theirs.. i gotchu girl.. no copyright infringement i promise, lol.. just a misunderstanding.

   lol, it aint ur fault and i wasnt trippin, i would have thought it was theirs too since they are a real official website. i emailed them and they made a new one lol...she said she found it via google.

   MAN! This hurt big time hearing this news. Ive had a subscription to them since idk how long & live/breathe their music, articles, fashion [black culture] I was raised on this especially their music reviews. They gave me inspiration for my designs but the recession is gets the best of all of us,,,

   I had that MJ cover of Vibe magazine. I think that was the only copy I ever actually purchased. The rest I just flipped through in the store.
